WFS Held Permits
WFS has obtained our own direct shipper permits in many states. This means that we will be able to ship to your customers and report under our license. We are hoping that we are able to offer a more cost-effective way for wineries to reach a larger customer base. Our fulfillment pricing includes the use of our direct shipper permits.
Orders can be fulfilled on your behalf under our permits, your permits, or a combination of the two. For orders shipped under our permits, we will report and pay the applicable taxes to the state on your behalf.
Current Direct Shipping States Include:
*As of July 2021, Kansas requires both the winery and fulfillment house to hold a permit. WFS holds the fulfillment house permit. Wineries must obtain the Special Order Wine Shipping License in order to ship through WFS to this state.
*As of Jan 2022, Tennessee will require both the fulfillment house and the winery to hold a permit. WFS will hold the fulfillment house permit only.
**WFS held permits are subject to change per state laws. We can always ship under a combination of our permits and winery held permits.**
